These terms apply to the use of the Langora website and to inquiries made to Stichting Langora for Ottoman Turkish translation, transliteration, archival research, and related scholarly services.

1. Quotes and Scope

Quotes are prepared based on the documents, project description, deadlines, and requested deliverables you provide. A project begins only after the scope, price, timeline, and delivery format have been agreed in writing.

2. Client Materials

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to share any documents or images you submit. Client materials are handled confidentially and used only for assessment, delivery, quality assurance, and project administration.

3. Delivery and Revisions

Delivery timelines are estimates unless expressly confirmed as fixed deadlines. Minor corrections or clarifications are included within the agreed revision window. New scope, additional pages, or substantially different instructions may require a new quote.

4. Payments and Invoices

Payment terms are stated in the project quote or invoice. International bank fees, payment provider fees, or currency conversion costs may be the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed.

5. Academic Use

Our work supports research, publication, archival access, and institutional documentation. Clients remain responsible for final scholarly interpretation, citation choices, and any legal or administrative use of the delivered material.

6. Website Use

You may not use this website to transmit malicious files, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with site operation, or submit materials that violate applicable law.
